Bargaining Committee reports on first day of negotiations

Your Provincial Collective Agreement Bargaining Committee issued the following report after the first day of negotiations with representatives of Alberta Health Services in the 2013 round of bargaining:

- Met to exchange ingoing proposals with Employers (Alberta Health Services, Covenant, Bethany Group Camrose and Lamont)

- Employers tabled “non-monetary” proposals only

- Employer proposals eviscerate the Scheduling (Articles 7, 30 and 37) and Layoff & Recall (Article 15) provisions of the Collective Agreement.

The Bargaining Committee will provide more details tomorrow, including actual proposals.
