Redford Government expected to introduce public employee wage freeze laws today

The Redford Government will introduce legislation later today that is expected to impose a multi-year wage freeze on public employees including civil servants and health care workers.

Many affected employees will spontaneously gather at the Legislature at 2:30 this afternoon in response to Bill 45, the Public Sector Continuation Act, and Bill 46, the Public Service Salary Restraint Act.
