UNA urges members to complete CARNA survey on LPN scope of practice

“I urge all UNA members who are members of CARNA to complete this survey.” - Second Vice-President Daphne Wallace.

The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta recently proposed amendments to its professional regulation, requesting authorization to expand the scope of practice for LPNS to activities that are at present restricted.

Alberta Health, in turn, has requested feedback on the proposed amendments from stakeholders, including members of UNA. CARNA, in turn, has asked all its members by email to help it with its response by completing a short online survey.

To be considered, responses to the CARNA survey must be submitted by July 29, 2016. Click here for a link to the survey.

“I urge all UNA members who are members of CARNA to complete this survey,” said Second Vice-President Daphne Wallace.
