Mark your calendar: Celebrate Labour Day at a BBQ near you

UNA members volunteer at the annual Labour Day BBQ hosted by the Edmonton and District Labour Council.

Labour Day is an annual holiday to celebrate the achievements of workers and has been celebrated on the first Monday in September in Canada since the 1880s. District Labour Councils across Alberta are celebrating Labour Day by holding free barbecues and events open to the public. Help celebrate the achievements of working Canadians by participating in a Labour Day event near you.
