Multi-Employer/UNA Collective Agreement
Increased Kilometreage Rates

Article 10: Transportation
The Multi-Employer/UNA Collective Agreement makes provisions for the reimbursement of transportation expenses when an Employee uses their
personal automobile for work (Article 10.01 and 10.03).
Effective July 1, 2008, the Provincial Government of Alberta increased the per kilometer reimbursement rate for business travel from 46¢ to 50.5¢ per kilometer. As a result, the reimbursement rate under the Multi-Employer/UNA Collective Agreement is now also 50.5¢ per kilometer for all transportation expenses that are incurred on or after July 1, 2008 that are reimbursable in accordance with
Article 10 of the Multi-Employer/UNA Collective Agreement.
