On-call
Nurses are paid for every hour they are on-call.

An Employee that is assigned on-call duty on a regular work day is paid $3.00 per hour. If it is a day of rest or a Named Holiday, the rate is $4.25 per hour. (Article 9.03)

If the Employee is called back to work, it is deemed to be overtime.  The overtime rate must be paid for all the hours worked or the minimum of 3 hours, in addition to the on-call pay. (Article 9.04(a))

An Employee who is on-call and is called back to duty is entitled to 35ยข per kilometer (or other reasonable transportation costs) for travel to and from their residence and the work site.
