Transferring to another position within AHS?
Article 23.10 of the Provincial Collective Agreement: Twenty-eight calendar days notice in writing, shall be given by an Employee who resigns.
This requirement is for employees who resign from their employment with Alberta Health Services.
This article does not apply when an employee is transferring to any nursing position within Alberta Health Services, no matter where in Alberta that position may be.
There are no specific notice requirements when leaving your current position to another position within Alberta Health Services.
As a courtesy it is recommended that you advise your manager of your transfer as soon as you are able.
