CAMROSE — More than 65 UNA local executive members gathered in Camrose at the union’s Central District Meeting Thursday to share concerns and conduct district business.

Participants in the meeting took part in a wide-ranging discussion of local issues, at which chronic understaffing at health facilities throughout the region and problems with air ambulance dispatch emerged ascentral concerns.

Nurses at the meeting also took part in a seminar on local participation in the Joint Workforce Regularization process in the current collective agreement between UNA and Alberta Health Services.
