Hundreds of Albertans rallied on the steps of the Legislative Assembly buidling on December 4, 2010 to support public healthcare in Alberta.
Many speakers including UNA President Heather Smith, Edmonton-Meadowlark MLA Raj Sherman, and former federal Health Minister Ujjal Dosanjh spoke about the dangers revealed in a recently leaked Alberta Health Act policy paper. The leaked document uncovered the government's continued drive to increase private healthcare, something that Albertans showed they were against at the rally on December 4.
