The Parkland Institute will be holding their annual Fall Conference on November 18, 19, and 20 at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
This year's conference, Class Dismissed: Capital's war on workers and democracy, will explore the current attack on workers and unions seen in places like the United States and Britain, and look at evidence that this anti-public sector worker wave exists in Canada.
Keynote speakers include CUPE President Paul Moist, Wisconsin State AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Stephanie Bloomingdale, and Professor Leo Panitch.
