Heather Smith brings greetings and nurses' concerns to Albertans this holiday
United Nurses of Alberta President Heather Smith will be heard on radio in most parts of the province this holiday season wishing Albertans well and reminding them of the important role nurses play in health care.

"Nurses are especially concerned that seniors in our province receive safe, dignified care, regardless of income or circumstance," Smith says in part in her message.

The radio ads will run frequently from Dec. 19 to Dec. 24 in Calgary on CJAQ-FM, commonly known as 96.9 Jack FM, and in Edmonton on CKNO-FM, commonly known as 102.3 Now.

The two stations chosen by UNA are top ranking in their respective markets for UNA audiences and together cover much of the province. In addition, similar ads will run on local stations in some other Alberta communities.
