Computer workshops - NOT provincially funded. The content of each session is tailored to meet the needs of the people requesting or attending the session or is set from questions and concerns arising from the tech support calls handled by UNA Systems Support. Feel free to request a special session for your local if you have at least 5 people interested.

To be eligible for provincial funding, members must be on the Local Executive (How to Run a Local) or the applicable Committee (PRC, OH&S and Grievance) or be a Ward/Office/Area Representative.

The Local President is ex-officio on all committees.

Individuals are provincially funded only once per workshop.

Funding includes salary replacement, accommodation and meals (as required) and mileage for out-of-town participants.
Any Local executive member can now register members in workshops using the Events Option in the Local Admin tab of the DMS.

UNA POLICY MANDATES THAT ALL REGISTRATION OF PARTICIPANTS MUST OCCUR AT LEAST ONE WEEK BEFORE THE ACTUAL WORKSHOP.
