Nurses Rally for Alberta!

More than 800 Alberta Nurses rallied on the steps of the Alberta Legislature to send a message to the government that they will stand up for Albertans' pensions, public health care, and collective bargaining rights.

Nurses at the rally heard speeches from United Nurses of Alberta President Heather Smith, Canadian Federation of Nurses Union President Linda Silas, Official Opposition leader Rachel Notley, Alberta Union of Provincial Employees President Guy Smith, Health Sciences Association of Alberta President Mike Parker, Canadian Union of Public Employees-Alberta President Rory Gill, Alberta Teachers' Association past-President Greg Jeffery and Alberta Federation of Labour President Gil McGowan.
