UNA leadership supports call for emergency debate on RN and RPN layoffs

UNA's Executive Officers and Provincial Board were at the Legislature on Dec. 2, 2019 to support calls by opposition leader Rachel Notley and health critic David Shepherd for an emergency debate in the Assembly about the AHS decision to eliminate 750 Registered Nurse and Registered Psychiatric Nurse positions in Alberta.

United Conservative Party MLAs voted against the motion for an emergency debate.
