UNA continues to support its members as staff work remotely during COVID-19 pandemic

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, United Nurses of Alberta’s leadership decided on Monday, March 16. 2020 to move its operations in the Provincial Office and Southern Alberta Regional Office off-site until further notice.

UNA will continue to be here to support its members and locals, although we are urging staff to restrict in-person meetings during this period in an effort to flatten the curve of COVID-19 in Alberta. UNA is also asking its Local Executives to limit in-person meetings.

UNA’s Labour Relations, Information Systems, and Administration and Finance departments will remain fully operational. The daily Duty Roster of Labour Relations Officers can be contacted through UNA’s main phone line as usual.

UNA members should be aware that there may be some brief technical interruptions in the next few days as our staff transition to working remotely.

UNA would like to thank our members for their understanding as we adjust to this rapidly evolving situation.

Further updates will be posted on una.ca and on UNA's social media accounts.
