Nurses wear white at information walks across Alberta

Members of UNA Local 73 in Westlock wear white and stand up for safe patient care. These nurses held an information walk outside the Westlock Healthcare Centre.

Members of United Nurses of Alberta are holding information walks Alberta to raise public awareness of the impact of nurse layoffs planned and implemented by Alberta Health Services on patient care in the province’s hospitals. Many participating nurses will be wearing white to demonstrate their pride in their profession and their support for their patients and their families.
