UNA's Jeannine Arbour appointed to Alberta Labour Relations Board

United Nurses of Alberta Manager of Labour Relations Jeannine Arbour has been appointed to the Alberta Labour Relations Board. The appointment was recommended by Minister of Jobs, Skills, Training and Labour Lori Sigurdson and made official by the provincial cabinet on January 27, 2016. The appointment is for a term to expire on July 26, 2017.

The Alberta Labour Relations Board is the independent and impartial tribunal responsible for the day-to-day application and interpretation of Alberta's labour laws.

Arbour has extensive experience in labour relations and contract negotiations on behalf of UNA members. In Dec. 2015, she stepped into a new role as Manager of Labour Relations for UNA’s Southern Alberta Regional Office in Calgary.
