CLC to launch National Pharmacare Tour in Edmonton

The Canadian Labour Congress will launch its national pharmacare tour in Edmonton on November 22, 2017. The first meeting in the Canada-wide tour will feature a panel discussion about how a national prescription drug plan could help Canadians and how Canadians can raise awareness about the issue.

Panel speakers will include United Nurses of Alberta President Heather Smith, CLC President Hassan Yussuff, University of British Columbia School of Population and Public Health professor Steve Morgan, and Friends of Medicare executive director Sandra Azocar.
