Results of membership ratification vote expected Friday

United Nurses of Alberta members covered by the Provincial Collective Agreement are voting in their workplaces today on a tentative agreement for a new three-year contract.

The new agreement covers all Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses employed by Alberta Health Services, Covenant Health, Lamont Health Centre and The Bethany Group (Camrose).

If you are a UNA member working for any of these employers, be sure to take part today in the ratification vote. Full details of the tentative agreement are available by online, and printed documents will be available at the voting area in your worksite.

UNA expects results of the vote to be available by the morning of Friday, February 16. UNA intends to report on the outcome of the vote as soon as possible after the count has been completed.

The Alberta Health Services Board is expected to meet Friday afternoon to consider ratification of the agreement.
