PrintCovenant Health may seek status as intervenor in UNA’s NP application
NURSE PRACTITIONER APPLICATION UPDATE
Covenant Health is evaluating whether to seek intervenor status in United Nurses of Alberta’s application for determination to represent Nurse Practitioners employed by Alberta Health Services.
UNA was informed of this development on April 19 by the law firm retained by Covenant Health.
Covenant Health is a Catholic health care organization that operates 17 hospitals and care centres in communities throughout Alberta. It employs a number of Nurse Practitioners and is part of the same Direct Nursing collective agreement as AHS and UNA.
