Labour Board grants intervenor status to four parties in Nurse Practitioners application

The Alberta Labour Relations Board said on May 18 it has granted full intervenor status to four affected parties in United Nurses of Alberta’s application for determination to represent Nurse Practitioners.

ALRB Chair William Johnson said in a memorandum intervenor status has been granted to the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees, the Health Sciences Association of Alberta, Covenant Health, and the Nurse Practitioners Association of Alberta.

Neither UNA for Alberta Health Services, the employer affected by the union’s application, objected to intervenor status for any of the four parties.
