Nurse and staff leaders from National Nurses United are in Alberta this week to learn about Canadian single-payer health care as Registered Nurses across the United States fight for a Medicare for All system that will guarantee health care as a human right.
United Nurses of Alberta hosted a meeting between Alberta Health Minister Sarah Hoffman and the U.S. nursing leaders on September 25, 2018. During the meeting, the minister joined the nurses in a discussion about some of the strengths and challenges facing Alberta's public health care system.
