ALRB to set dates to consider constitutional issues related to UNA application and related matters

UNA Nurse Practitioners application for determination

Alberta Labour Relations Board Vice-Chair Nancy Schlesinger has issued three directives related to the application for determination to represent Nurse Practitioners employed by Alberta Health Services by United Nurses of Alberta.

A letter from ALRB Director of Settlement Tannis Brown sets out the directives: that the Board finds it appropriate to consider constitutional issues raised by UNA’s application separately and first, that the Board will allow participation by university deans of nursing, and that the board will set hearing dates for the constitutional questions.

The letter also contains procedural information for intervenors.
