Dec 11: Seniors Care forum in Edmonton

Friends of Medicare, Public Interest Alberta, and the Parkland Institute will conclude their province-wide Seniors Care tour at a public forum in Edmonton on Wednesday, December 11, 2013.

Visiting eleven communities across Alberta, this tour has presented the politics and policies that are guiding seniors care in Alberta. The tour highlights concerns regarding the rapidly-rising involvement of private corporations in our seniors' care system and in our health care system more broadly. In addition, the Parkland Institute has released a new report on elder care.
