Pension Alert! Your help is needed!

Debate has begun on Bill 9, the legislation that will impact public sector pensions, including the Local Authorities Pension Plan. UNA has been working with other unions to try to prevent the government from making unnecessary and harmful changes to the LAPP.

Reducing our pension is a hidden wage cut! It is a cut in our future income.

Next week (April 28 to May 2) the legislature will not be in session, so your MLA should be in your constituency. Please contact your MLA and ask them to OPPOSE Bill 9.
