Edmonton Pride begins today; parade starts at 11 a.m. Saturday on Whyte Avenue

United Nurses of Alberta recognizes the outstanding contribution of Edmonton's LGBTQ community and stands proud with them during the Edmonton's 36th annual Pride Festival, which begins today and runs until Sunday, June 12.

The annual Pride Parade returns to its original home of Whyte Avenue at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 4. The parade will start at the intersection of 108th Street and Whyte Avenue, turn left onto 104th Street and end up at End of Steel Park.

Parade Grand Marshal for 2016 will be Edmonton’s Making Waves Aquatics Club.
