Health care debates in Edmonton-Whitemud by-election

Two health care-related events may be of interest to UNA members living in the Edmonton-Whitemud provincial constituency. Health Minister Stephen Mandel is the Progressive Conservative candidate in Whitemud by-election being held on Oct. 27, 2014.

On Monday, Oct. 20, 2014 at 7:30 p.m., the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) will co-host an all-candidates forum for the Edmonton-Whitemud by-election at the Snow Valley Chalet (13204 - 45 Avenue NW).

Whitemud Citizens for Public Health will host an all-candidates forum in Edmonton-Whitemud on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Riverbend United Church (14907 - 45 Avenue NW).

Four provincial by-elections to choose new MLAs are being held on Oct. 27, 2014 in the Calgary-Elbow, Calgary-Foothills, Calgary-West and Edmonton-Whitemud constituencies. Information about the by-election candidates and where to vote can be found on the Elections Alberta website.
