Main Workshop Description

Charting your Course provides participants with an opportunity to set priorities and receive professional advice on retirement planning. Some issues the workshop will cover are:

· Is it better to pay off your mortgage or invest in the stock market for growth?

· How do you manage debt and credit?

· Is there such a thing as too much life insurance?

· Are you paying too much tax – and if you are, how can you pay less (legally, of course)?

· How do you save when all your money is needed to fund a lifestyle?

· How do you know if you are financially healthy?

· How do you find a good financial advisor?

· How do you protect yourself from the cost of long-term illness, particularly when the government seems to be cutting back on services?

· Why bother with creating a plan?
