Alberta Nurses represented at International Council of Nurses congress

New South Wales Nurses' Association (NSWNA) General Secretary Brett Holmes, UNA First Vice-President Bev Dick, NSWNA Assistant General Secretary Judith Kiejda and Canadian Federation of Nurses Union Secretary-Treasurer Pauline Worsfold at the May Day march on May 5 in Sydney, Australia.

UNA President Heather Smith and First Vice-President Bev Dick will represent Alberta Nurses at the 25th quadrennial congress of the International Council of Nurses being held in Melbourne, Australia.

The main objectives of the International Council of Nurses congress are to advance and improve equity and access to health care, demonstrate the nursing contribution to the health of individuals, families and communities, and provide opportunities for an in-depth exchange of experience and expertise within and beyond the international nursing community.
