United Nurses of Alberta is supporting the flood relief efforts in southern Alberta. The UNA Executive Board voted this week to donate $10,000 to the Canadian Red Cross, which has been on the ground providing vital support for people affected by the flooding in Calgary and southern Alberta communities.
Over the past week, many front-line nurses and emergency workers have worked hard to provide health care services to southern Alberta residents who were evacuated from areas affected by the floods.
Donations to support Canadian Red Cross activities on the ground can be made at redcross.ca.
