United Nurses of Alberta strongly urges its members who are employed by Covenant Health to participate in the survey on the Professional Responsibility Concern (PRC) process that has been sent to them by researchers in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Alberta.

The survey was sent out to front-line nurses including Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses represented by UNA, as well as managers, via the employees’ Covenant Health email addresses.

The survey, which is being conducted by a research team from the University of Alberta Faculty of Nursing, is part of a co-operative program to improve the PRC process sponsored by UNA and Covenant Health.

Completion of the survey will take about 15 minutes, the U of A research team said. All submissions are anonymous. A link to the survey is provided in the email from Covenant Health and the deadline for completion is April 30, 2018.

Participants may be invited to take part in two additional surveys following the joint UNA-Covenant PRC education sessions that will take place in workplaces next month.

“If you are employed by Covenant Health, please check your Covenant Health email account and complete the PRC survey as soon as possible,” UNA President Heather Smith said today.

“The greater the participation in the survey, the more meaningful the results will be,” Smith emphasized.
